Identity Theft Awareness Week 2026

This week is Identity Theft Awareness Week. It is a reminder to stay vigilant and take steps to protect your personal and financial information. Be cautious of unexpected messages, use strong passwords, and regularly monitor your accounts for unusual activity.

As a reminder, MCCFCU will never text or call you to ask for personal information. If you are unsure of the legitimacy of a correspondence, hang up and call our office to report this activity.
If you have been a victim of identity theft, visit https://www.identitytheft.gov/ to make a report and get a recovery plan.
