Mercer County Community Federal Credit Union (MCCFCU) celebrated 69 years of dedicated service to its members at its Annual Meeting held on April 18, 2026. Sandi Carangi, CEO of MCCFCU, stated that financial empowerment for members was the focus of the credit union over the past year. Numerous financial seminars were held, student accounts were introduced, and online financial literacy webinars were offered.
Ms. Carangi noted that she is especially proud of the contributions made during CU Kind Month, an annual initiative dedicated to spreading kindness throughout the community. “This past year, our members, employees, board members, and supervisory members volunteered and donated hundreds of hours to local organizations,” said Carangi. “We then matched this goodwill by donating $2,100 to 21 charitable organizations.” The credit union also received national recognition from America’s Credit Unions for this initiative.
